Welcome to the wonderful world of Zentangle®. Zentangle is enjoyed all over the world across a wide range of skills, interests and ages. It was not only designed for fun and relaxation but it can also give you a sense of satisfaction and achievement. To create Zentangle art all you need are a few basic tools found around the home and does not require a lot of time, space or money. Zentangle is more than just drawing patterns. The Zentangle method was designed in such a way that anyone interested in being creative could participate and succeed. NO experience or artistic skills are required and there is NO wrong when using the Zentangle method.

Join us for this workshop and experience for yourself this easy to learn method of using repetitive patterns to create abstract art. Focus your attention and develop a relaxing, meditative practice while drawing. Follow the mindful, step-by-step process that is the Zentangle method and hear of benefits people around the world are experiencing. The history & philosophy of Zentangle will also be covered as you learn basic tangle patterns and techniques to create your own works of art.

About the Tutor: Lianne Woods

Lianne was one of many people who always believed there was not a creative bone in her body. She would often tell people that she never progressed past drawing stick figures. Then in early 2013 she accidentally stumbled upon Zentangle® and was hooked. Through the Zentangle method she began to produce beautiful works of art, one stroke at a time, and be proud to say “I did that!”

Lianne attended the 13th Teacher Training Seminar in November, 2013 and became the first person in NSW to become a Certified Zentangle Teacher (CZT). People all around the world are expressing the benefits of using the method.

Lianne’s passion is to share the Zentangle method with as many people as possible so they can experience for themselves the benefits it can bring into their lives. Lianne will be your guide as you begin your journey into the world of Zentangle.
